Arrange
Anyone remember Khonnor, the teenage prodigy who made a superbly desolate album called Handwriting a long while ago? Well if Arrange has been listening to 'Handwriting' then he really ought to. Either way this is excellent update of that sound.

Young Dreams
Channelling Beach Boys production through a youthful scandinavian prism, these Bergen scamps have struck gold on an oft trodden but still glorious path. More of the same please, pronto.

Monster Rally
Whimsical tropical psych loungesters Monster Rally have an new ep upcoming on Gold Robot records and with us being on the cusp of summer I'm likely to be annoying my neighbours by donning a string vest, decamping to the garden and putting this on repeat.

Miracle Fortress
From the new album, four years in the making comes this sprawling gem. Yearning electronica at its best. Sounds like The Antlers at a Disco, a description which may fill some people with dread but they'd be wrong.

I Break Horses
Already snapped up by the venerable Bellla Union label, more luscious shoegaze revivalism from Sweden. On the strength of the tracks we've heard the album whenever it arrives should be a thing of beauty.

Us Baby Bear Bones
Galloping along, this demo from Brighton band Us Baby Bear Bones is one the most interesting things I have heard this year, merging a multitude of ideas with some moments of real beauty, they've been drinking from the same well as Brightonian indie royalty Electralane.

Polock
Not sure if they are named after the rotund ex Middlesborough midfielder (albeit with one less L), it seems unlikely given that they hail from Valencia but you never know. I look forward to the unveiling of new Hip Hop group Hignett from Texas.
Anyway this is one for fans of Phoenix or Shout Out Louds, pure pop.

Theme Park
Slighty shambolic, loaping bass driven pop music from this London band. Its difficult to find much out about them which puts me in mind that they are already in the clutches of a dark industry svengali, building the hype via mystery but then maybe i'm just being overly suspicious. Either way this is an superb start.

Tennis
I belatedly got around to listening to Cape Dory by Tennis today and i've got to say whilst its hardly anything new, a more expertly put together Spector indebted indie pop album will be hard to find. A beautiful cut about escaping to the the country for the simple life gives ample evidence below.
